A: slightly murky copper and dark yellow color. Thin, off-white head
S: oranges, clementines, mango, creamsicle, and a hunt of dank herbal hops. dry crackers and orange peel towards the end
T: mango, pineapple, and watery grapefruit upfront. Sweet floral hops and biscuits malts behind that. Clementines and blood orange follow. A touch of alcohol and more sweet citrus to close
M: medium mouthfeel with high carbonation for a NEIPA
O: for a NEIPA it’s a bit too much in the mouthfeel. It’s a bit too effervescent, but the hop combo is still nice. Nice tasting beer, just not quite to-style

Pours a murky orange with soft, soapy head.
Smell is sweet and juicy with notes of mango, pineapple and vanilla. Fairly mild smell overal.
Taste is sweet and a bit boozy, with notes of fruit punch, mango, vanilla and a strange hint of arrack.
Mouthfeel is medium, soft and well carbonated.
Overall, a bit of an odd one, tasty but with a few weird notes.

One of my favorite beers, beautiful foamy head that last a while. Very smooth and floral ipa. Must cry captain Lawrence has done it again

Strong head production and excellent retention. Body is a hazy lemon yellow, not quite pulpy or opaque, but barely translucent.
Nose is awash with citrus tones of orange, grapefruit, lemon, and zest, while tropical notes of mango and pineapple hide in the background, swimming with resin, pine, honey, pepper, and touches of grapefruit.
Sweet, juicy, and immediately delicious. Moderately dank, primarily mid-palate. Initial tones are mango, papaya, strawberry, and pineapple, along with orange and grapefruit. Finish retains a touch of citrus peel and zest, mingling with the fading tropical fruit and berry tones and an echo of the dankness.
A touch too lively for a NE IPA (especially one clocking in at 7.5%), but very smooth and borderline creamy. It fits the style, although it isn't a perfect example thereof.

1-31-19 canning date, direct from the source.
Pours out with a medium haze, lasting cap, and leaving copious amounts of spotty lacing.
Pungent tropical hop nose, with mango and kiwi coming forward.
Fruity, juicy, minty, tropical fruit goodness shining through...well crafted and well worth seeking out...real nice take on the NEIPA style...dont sleep on the Captain...go get some of this nectar and enjoy....

Another in their line of tangy, lupulin-dosed NEIPA-styled beers... Translucent and hazy medium gold with a finger or two of white fluff on top... Lots of citrusy and floral notes - I'm kinda finding it challenging to distinguish one of these from the others at this point - moderately sweet and tangy, little bitterness - rather zesty and soft... Good beer but doesn't stand out from the line or the NEIPA/hazy crowd... 1/30/19 canning...
