Ok, had reviewed the "plain" version listed here before (on tap), in which I mention Montueka. I am unsure of the hops used, so potentially re-reviewing here, where I know from the can.
The body of this beer has that "ïn between" hazy look to it in my vessel of choice. The thinner section of the glass shows a highly watered down orange juice blend, while the thicker section shows a more consistent pale goldenrod light cloud. The glass has a raised emblem in its base, and the hot spring foam center of the beer's surface thins as it stretches to the water's edge, where it piles up and stretches to the skywith the lacing.
With all the bubbles and proclaimed dry-hopping, I expect a decent nose on this, and am not really disappointed. There is a strong mix of lemon and grapefruit pulp, backed by some of the pulp of the latter. All other scents sit in the background, like a melon sweetness and a light funky note (I've used the term rotting citrus before, and it sort of applies here). Something is restraining the citrus and funk, as well - and while I want to lean towards a very light tropical note, I can't really place it as such.
Taste opens with a mix of smooth, flaky malt character and some bitter citrus. Not bitter on its own, but on the bitter side of citrus flavors. After my palate crests this hill, I get a glimpse of that Montueka distinguishing note. It's only a glimpse, though. Some pineapple cut with some watered-down orange juice and a little blueberry reinforce the more acidic flavors (not that this acidic like a sour, just the fruit notes I am getting are generally acidic). Finally, everything calms, and I get a reedy-grass, near woody taste and feel as the bitter notes (light as they are) lead me to the aftertaste.

Can dated 2-17-20 into pint glass. Pours a hazy gold-amber with a nice off-white head. Initial impression is a fairly sweet, sticky, boozy, fruity hop bomb. Grapefruit and orange dominate, with mango and pineapple also evident. Mouthfeel is fairly thick and sticky; carbonation is high enough to make it a little prickly. Finish is sticky and sweet, with a slight resinous aftertaste. Not bad, but not my impression of a NEIPA.

5 oz pour on tap. Aroma and flavor feature tropical/citrus vegetal hoppiness with a wheaty malt backbone. Slightly sweeter and boozier than I would prefer. Mouthfeel is a tiny bit harsh for a NEIPA. Overall solid but not a top-tier NEIPA.
