A thanks to the amazing woodychadler for this beer. Poured from a 16 oz. can. Despite zero agitation, this beer came rushing out, resulting in a golden color with a 1 inch head and a mess on my leg. Smell is of citrus. Taste is pine, citrus, moderate to significant bitterness. Feelsmedium/full bodied in the mouth and overall is a solid beer.

A: Appeared from the can (it's a bit out-of-date, though I just bought it) into a tulip glass. Body is modestly hazed golden with a small white head on top.
S: Not a strong nose - ripe oranges & orange peel, brown sugary malt, and a hint of pine.
T: This is a West Coast DIPA: caramel malt, brown sugary malt, oranges, some pine needles, pine resin, and a hint of lemony bitterness at the finish.
M: Notably full in body; this isn't a high-alcohol IPA that gives the appearance of a DIPA because of the booze - it's the real thing. Carbonation is there - this isn't a NEIPA juice bomb.
O: Not bad. Would've liked to have had it when fresh to get a better sense of it, but it's drinkable as is.

L: Poured from a tallboy can to a snifter glass. Had a golden yellow color and a surprisingly clear consistency. There was a quarter inch of foamy head that quickly dissipated. Above average lacing.
S: A pretty good aroma of hops, citrus fruit, pine, malt, and a floral quality.
T: Tasted of a little bit of malt (more than usual; mostly in the finish), a lot of hops (quite bitter, but not obnoxiously so), a hint of the floral quality (kind of fleeting), some citrus fruit (grapefruit, in particular), and a tinge of pine (just enough to make it interesting. A solid flavor, if a bit old-fashioned. Needed a bit more fruit. Still, not bad.
F: A well-carbonated beer with a sharp, bitter finish. Medium-bodied.
O: An uneven beer, but it has some interesting points.

Look: It pours golden and clear. It has a white head. Head retention is excellent.
Smell: It has aromas of grapefruit and resin. There are some floral notes with a low grainy sweetness in the background.
Taste: It has strong grapefruit and citrus flavors. There are low levels of resin and floral notes.
Feel: It has a medium full body with noticeable alcohol in the finish.
Overall, it's got a bit of a bite to it with the flavors being slightly muted in the finish due to the bite.

Awesome DIPA. Great citrus smell and feel and taste. Not a hazy. Just great hops and a little malt to solidify and make it feel like a beer. Easy to drink for ABV. I am impressed and happy to find more from this brewery.

Had on tap. Pours a clear golden yellow with a small fizzy head. Aroma and taste feature citrus and grassy hops with plenty of bitterness, as advertised. But honestly too much straight-up harsh unbalanced bitterness, and I don't mind bitterness as a general rule. Mouthfeel is impacted as well, very dry and slightly astringent.

16 oz can poured into a pub-style pint.
Appearance
Golden blonde. Good clarity. Lively carbonation. 1+ finger loose head.
Nose
Grapefruit zest, pine needle, florals, and lemon zest.
Taste
Bright zesty florals, grapefruit zest, lemon zest, and pine needles. Slight potpourri. The malt backbone is almost nonexistent. Finishes with lingering zests.
Mouthfeel
Light bodied, crisp, bitter, and dry.
Overall
I'm quite surprised! It's an incredibly easy drinking west coast DIPA.

Picked-up a four-pack of cans at Bradford's in Plymouth for about thirteen dollars. My second brew reviewed from these guys, have had a few others before. Liked this, nice change of pace from all the NEIPAS.
