Back of the coaster notes from BT VSK 2.0, & subsequently reinforced here & there a few times over. Dry hopped.
A hazy still pour the color of lemon-lime Gatorade. A whisp of bubbles on top, but it's as flat as if it was just primed last night. Pretty much the same experience every time.
Smell is a tad dusty. Aroma of lemon rind, cereal grains, grass, vinegar, & sour milk. I was interested.
Flavor is much of the same, though very "meh" when put together. Add to the lemon, some apples &/or apricots, some wheat, & an ugly additional amount of lactose. Some Romaine lettuce to top it off & add some much needed bitterness. Body felt heavier then I'd like.
A base beer for some other experiments from what I heard. Please put Linda's Little Elixir on cask instead.

Gravity cask at BTAH VSK.
Pours pale gold with no head.
Nose is grassy hops, barnyard funk, horseblanket, earthy.
Flavor is funky up front, barnyard and earthy, bit of citric tartness, grassy hops assert themselves early on and throughout, without ever breaking free of the tartness - the combination makes for weird, corny off-flavor. Not pleasant for me.
Mouthfeel was still, medium-light body.

A: Poured a very hazy golden color. The dry hopping was really evident by the haze. Almost no head at all. This was from a gravity fed keg so no suprises there.
S: A nice pungent sour nose. Some hints of funk but it really was not overwhelming. The dry hopping added some hints of hops but they interacted in a strange way with the sour that makes it hard to describe.
T: A nice sour that was not overpowering. Again not mouth puckering. The dry hopping and the hops were interesting. Reminded me of sour flower power by Ithaca.
M: There was almost no carbonation at all but this was served still. Very crisp and refreshing feeling.
D: I easiely drank over a pint of this between night of the barrels and EBF. I could't believe they never ran out of this. A really nice sour that stood out as different from a very impressive field.
