Another great beer from a great brewery.
A: Very hazy golden color. Had a little bit of white head with not that much head retention. A decent amount of carbonation for a cask ale.
S: Nice little bit of sharp citrus. This is a funky ass beer. James Brown on heroin funky. A little bit of fruit in there as well. Oh yeah it has a massive tartness.
T: Massive funk up front. Bret is there. Horse. Massive tartness. Little bit of citric. Not as hopped as last years version. In fact I did not get even a little bit of hop bitterness. It finishes very sour with a nice lingering taste on the back of your throad.
M: Very lightly carbonated. Light bodied as well.
D: Another great sour from Captain Lawrence. This is super funky and super tart at the same time. Excellent beer.

The beer pours a cloudy gold color with a small white head that quickly fades to lacing. The aroma is decent. It has a light pale and wheat malt scent along with a dry oak character and a bit of smelly feet aroma. It really smelled like a locker room. Scott said it was from the barrels. They were "sweating" this particular smell. The taste is great. It has a killer, dry sourness that goes down easy with some real puckering. The locker room character is there as well as some nice horsehair Brett flavors. The mouthfeel is fine. It is a low/medium bodied beer with adequate carbonation. This is a damn complex sour. There truly are some wild things going on in this beer.
