This, for me, was a don’t judge a book by it’s cover kinda beers… and not in the best way… the look it almost perfect. A hazy golden color. The smell was of super ripe tropical fruits, some citrus, a little bit of booze on the back end. Some resiny pine to be noted there as well. But the taste was not what I wanted it to be. The flavors I got up front weren’t dissimilar from the nose. I felt it was certainly more herbal, piney, resiny up front than tropical fruity but those flavors are still there. But all of these flavors are quickly overshadowed by an undeniable boozy flavor that I don’t particularly enjoy. I will say, the further I got into the beer the more I did end up enjoying it… not sure if that’s the 10.5% talking or what. Anywho, I appreciate this beer, but will probably avoid it next time I’m in the store.

Hazy Triple IPA...canned 12/14/21.

Pours all hazed and juicy looking. Under a load of looser froth and low lacing.

Bright tropical fruit sniff, with a bunch of melon, and ripe pineapple.

Tasty tropical fruit forward brew. Smoky pineapple, lots of lime, ginger and drying hops in the finish....Big and brash..well worth a try.
