A - Opaque dark orange gold color with thin dense white lacing and very low on the carbonation
S - Dank tropical fruit, lime, mango, and citrus on the nose.
T - Lime, citrus, tropical fruit, berry, stone fruit, grapefruit, some herbal character, and an underlying resiny pine to round things out with some bitterness. The berry nuance is a little stronger than the others and there's a little bit of peppery/ spicy fruit rind as well.
M - Big medium body that's a little chewy and pillowy soft. Finishes dry on the back of the tongue while the rest of the mouth waters. There's a slight bit of heat (initially) but subsides once the palate adjusts.
O - This D-IPA hits right in the middle of the pack, not outstanding but who cares because it's rock solid and nicely done. Recommended.
