A lovely cloudy palish gold. Sizable, soapy head, quite big really, with a relatively quick fade and decent but not generous, amount of lacing here and there. A byproduct of the high abv imo.
Very fragrant. I can smell this from almost 5 feet away. Juicy and full of tropics. Mangos and guava leading the way. Pineapples cut in with sweet malt and bread notes. Mild citrus.
Taste is just outstanding. Sweet and deeply rich malt backbone. Hops follow the nose. Juicy tropics followed by gentle citrus. Alcohol is well integrated, just flashing on the tongue as I swallow. Very low bitterness, with a dry, relatively clean finish with a touch of hops lingering for a second before its all gone.
Great feel. Smooth and supple. Lighter than anything at this abv should be. Mildly creamy swallow and a crisp finish.
Just great. You can drink this like a beer that's half the abv. Danger Will Robinson. Delicious in the extreme, and so quaffable. This is not a triple ipa that drinks like one. It's just a session NEIPA that clocks in at 10.5%.
