A: Poured from the can into a Tree House tulip. Body is hazy golden with a half-finger of foamy white head.
S: Surprisingly muted on the nose - digging deep I get a hint of tropical fruit and lemon.
T: First impression: sweeter than expected. Think sugar cookie dough as the malty foundation. Then some tropical fruity hops - ripe melon, papaya - and sweeter citrus (e.g., oranges).
M: Fitting body for a Double IPA - slightly syrupy in feel, medium to full bodied in heft - though not as juicy as expected for a New England-style IPA.
O: Meh. I don't dislike it, but it's a tad bit too sweet for me.

Canned 11/09/22....yup..its a freshie.
Another great looking NEIPA or perhaps NEDIPA. Fully hazed n juiced, strands of fine bubble lacing and areas of sheeting. Ringed lace above a fine bubble and coating film....nice looking brew.
On the sniff its minty fresh, with some lime, and mango. Enticing.
More over the top delicious NEIPA brew from the good captain....tropical fruits abounding....ripe fruit notes of pineapple, mango, kiwi...mighty fine and well worth tracking down to savor.
