The pint can label declares this to be a dry, punchy and hoppy cold IPA. To find out what that means, the can's contents are emptied into a clear glass liter mug. A first major positive is the absence of the now too common, stark white foamy mess produced by many modern American IPAs. Oppositely, this actually lacks a head and the pour was at room temperature. There's plenty of visible carbonation within this lightly and brightly colored amber liquid. Call it sort of translucent, but there's all that carbonation and a bit of haziness there, too. There's not much aroma and what is there is unfamiliar for an IPA. It's neither hoppy, nor malty, but it is grainy. It drinks mediocre at best in all categories. The mouthfeel is OK, but toward the thin side. The hops are certainly mild upfront, but appear during the finish. At least they dry out the finish, which considering the lack of body, isn't necessarily a commendable feat. As for hoppy, maybe it's little more so than the average American Adjunct Lager. In short it's bland, inoffensive, unremarkable and not worthy of a revisit. The latter would require something interesting that may need some more exposure to fully appreciate. As it's nearly characterless, that's not going to be necessary. The glass lacing was just as unmemorable as the beer.
