Deep ruddy brownish red, opaque, not much in the way of carbonation. Aroma is of cherry, acetate but light, lactic sourness and some nice funky oak barrel. The taste is oh so sweet and sour. Some great brown sugar and graham cracker beneath the high notes of lactic sour cherry, chewy oaky and funky barrel. A great lingering tart cherry flavor lasts on the tongue before it is scrubbed away by dryness. A full bodied sour beer, not thin, not too dry this beer is a triumph. Overall I wish I had several bottles of this stuff.
EDIT: Just wanted to add I had this at Blind Tiger Ale House.

A: The beer pours a dark amber color, heavy on the reddish notes and minimal head.
S: Definitely sourness and cherries on the nose. Certainly a bit of vinegar with minimal funk and quite a bit of oak aroma. Maybe a touch of cough syrup.
T: Lots of oak flavor, which provides a lot of tannins and a hint of vanilla. Sour cherry fruit and skins. Moderate amounts of vinegar with minimal funk, maybe just some grass and wet oak.
M: Medium in body with a low to moderate carbonation.
O: Could have used a little less vinegar, but not bad at all.

Deep red and slightly murky with no head to speak of. Pleasant tart cherry notes with hints of lemon and a slight mustiness in the background. The tartness was a bit puckering much to my liking. Smooth oak notes provide some vanilla and earthiness Nothing astringent or harsh in the mouthfeel. Overall a very refreshing wild ale from captain lawrence, too bad there was only one keg.
