I reviewed this during Night of the Barrels while I was taking a break.
Appearance: Pours an orangish cloudy amber with a layer of off white head that goes away completely.
Smell: Reminds me of beets and some herbs along with some malt sweetness. This is weird.
Taste: Stupid beets are showing up here too. There is a tartness showing up, unlike the smell, along with an earthy herbal flavor. Some sweet malt in play as well.
Mouthfeel: Medium body with a low amount of carbonation and a dry finish.
Overall: This was a really weird and not great beer for me. Different strokes for different folks I guess.
