Modern West Coast Style DIPA, not to be confused with the older West Coast style that Capt Lawrence excels at. This one uses citra and cryo mosaic, and adds some rice in addition to the pilsner malt. Clean and clear. Moderate carbonation. Lingering head. The flavors are on the lighter side for a DIPA, but then again this is one of those modern West Coast IPAs. It has that distinct cryo hop character. Its not super piney, the fruitiness shines though. White grapes come to mind. And it is more of a crispy boi than a malt bomb because its pilz and rice. The resulting product has a very nice, thin mouthfeel. Nice celebratory brew, but I recommend Pacific Dawn over this.
