Dark, opaque fluid with a large brown head. Good amount of lace and covering. Smell is quite hoppy with pine being covered by grapefruit tinged citrus over a roasted grain core. Flavor is just yummy with a better balance than the original 5 Years Later. Roasty caramel malt body is full and sweet and lays the foundation for a big complex hop component. Finish is dry and hoppy with a quenching edge that enhances drinkability. Feel is medium weigh with a velvety carbonation and a touch of crispness.A very nice brew that lends itself quite well to summer sessioning and grilled foods.

Listed as: "Pilot Batch #8 ('6 N Change' BLK IPA)" on the tap list.
Dark brown/black, opaque body yields minimal head. Aroma is rather weak with piney hops struggling to find their place amidst the roasted base.
Sharp and rounded hops join forces in the taste but can't seem to find their purpose in life. Doesn't taste particularly fresh either, even though this growler was filled mere days ago. Body is nice; arguably the best part of the beer.
An entirely forgettable brew.
