Growler filled at the brewery about an hour ago. This is the latest edition of the pilot batch series.

Pours clouded darker orangey apricot. Moderate off white head, leaves a tiny bubble film as well as a load of nice looking and fine webs of lacing.

Fruity nose, with ripe melon and some honey.

Belgian IPA from the good Captain, a very welcome addition to the line up. I just hope this one goes into some sort of regular production, we'll see.

Hoppy, fruity, and quite enjoyable. Belgian yeast makes itself known. Notes of light lime, ginger, background pepper, more ripe fruits. Hops lurking in the midsection and drying out the finish.

I love this style and this a pleasing first take from CLB.
