Growler filled at the Brewery
The captain's first ever lager, this one is pilot batch # 25, brewed by good guy brewer Justin.
Pours quite a quite dark shade of brown, under a long lasting frothy medium khaki head. Leaves tons of high sheeting, a tiny buble film and nice ringed lace.
Nose of darker malts, dusty hops and dark bready goodness.
Simply delicious brew. Waves of bready sweet malts. Smooth caramel. Well done. Yummy and easy drinking. Go get over to the Captain and get some before its gone. They only made 7 barrels...
