Looks like I am adding this one. Had from a growler into my new Alchemist 14oz Glass.
Pours a rich copper amber with off white 2 finger head. Foam recedes to a cirrus cloud film with random floating bubbles. Good lace.
Smells of grapefruit citrus with solid caramel malt backbone. Nice fruitiness here! A bit of dark cherry rye smell comes through well. Some grassy notes.
Nice feel with the dry rye right up front followed by the grapefruit nicely balanced by the rye cherry sweetness. A touch of tropical fruits in the middle that drys quickly on the palate followed by a grassy finish with lingering sweetness and hoppy bitterness.
Good mouth feel all the way through with tight carbonation balanced by the dry hoppy bitterness.
Go get this one while it's still on tap.
