Captain's description: A nice brown/black color boasting rich malts mixed w/mild hop bitterness for a smooth finish. Brewer: Justin Sturges
Pours near black, medium khaki head leaves a moderate collar and minor spots of lacing.
Mild chocolate on the nose.
Chocolate and more chocolate on the palate. Smooth on the tongue, slightly chalky with some hop drying going on late into the finish. I'm picking up mostly well rounded chocolate maltyness. Quite yummy.
