This offering from GRBC shows a chestnut brown color with dark auburn highlights when held to light. Slight tan head holds up, sticky lacing. Aroma is of brown sugar and cinammon. Some toffee joins the mixture. The sweet malts are in full force here along with a good dose of spices. Alcohol is very apparent even for its 8% and makes this surely a sipper. The body is actually quite creamy with no acidity noticeable. A little smoke would have been nice. Finish leaves an alcoholic warmth. Very enjoyable. I have had this twice now and the malty sweetness of it goes really well with steak. Both times 10 oz. were enough though.
