On tap served in a mug
A- This beer was very heady and sticky. It poured a nice amber color.
S- The aroma was quite hoppy. It smelled mostly of pine and grass, but some malts were able to peak through.
T- A lot of hops again in the flavor. The tones I picked up were mostly of grapefruit.
M- It was quite smooth in the mouth as the beer made its way through the foamy head. The carbonation was on the lighter side.
D- This was quite an easy drinker. While the hops were quite present, it didn't kill the tastebuds allowing for multiple pints in a single sitting.
Overall- This is a solid IPA. It would be a good choice for fans of hops, as it doesn't have quite the balance with the malts that some others in the style may exhibit.
