Poured from 12oz can into a dimpled mug. Canned 5/1/23.
Appearance: nice golden-orange color with the tiniest dash of haze and a good effervescence. Head is two fingers of pillowy tan foam that leaves a nice lace on the glass. Actually very pretty indeed.
Smell: resiny, lemony, piney hops, with a bit of a sweet malt backdrop. Nothing revolutionary here, but not too bad.
Taste: malt is sweet and just a little toasty; there's a little stickiness here. Hops are earthy, a little lemony, and with a relatively high bitterness. A decent classic American IPA.
Mouthfeel: medium-rich body with a good carbonation and creaminess.
Overall: a perfectly cromulent IPA. Nothing remarkable, but a decent camping IPA.
