Drinking this at The Laughing Dog Brewing Company just outside of Hayesville North Carolina with The Red Headed Lady of Snowbird Mountains Brewery fame.
Looks dark brown almost black with a nice thick foamy tannish head that dropped quickly to a thick cap.
Smells chocolate, coffee and malt with the chocolate slightly stronger than the coffee.
Taste follows the nose nicely with the chocolate slightly stronger than the coffee.
Mouth feel is medium for the style with a nice smooth creamy finish.
Overall t a very nice example of a coffee chocolate porter that I would definitely order again.
