Drinking this at The Laughing Dog Brewing Company just outside of Hayesville North Carolina with The Red Headed Lady of Snowbird Mountains Brewery fame.
Looks deep amber with a off-white thick foamy head that dropped quickly to a thick cap.
Smells Malty, sweet, spicy.
Taste follows the nose nicely. Not especially spicy like some Marzens, more like Octoberfest light.
Mouth feel, super smooth for the style with a nice smooth finish.
Overall a very nice example of a Octoberfest that I would definitely order again.
