December 29th, 2013 - I'm uncertain what the reference here in the name means, but I like the bright McDonald's color theme. Bright enough to catch my eye, and thematic with the aroma, which expresses Corn Pops, honey and, well, corn, overall. The palate is medium heavy, with a heavy dose of alcohol up front. The aftertaste brings in a cloying glob of sweetness in the form of caramel corn and cracker jacks, over accentuating what is usually a subtler shade of caramel based sweet in tripels. There's far too much sugar here, and the rest of the beer was donated to the municipal sewage system. But the potency makes me think this has potential in cooking applications, with enough sugar to last through cooking, and to challenge other bold ingredients.

Pours a golden color with a thin head. First thing i notice is a real fruity aroma. The taste is s sweet, caramel flavor with a slight bitter finish. Overall its just okay, i was hoping for a lot more.

16 oz can. Pours slightly hazy copper orange with a medium creamy white head that goes to a thin film that laces the glass some.

The aroma is sweet perfumey malts and banana.

The flavor is sweet bready, grainy malts (like a cream ale) with bubblegum and banana and some bitter alcohol in the finish. The mouthfeel is light to medium bodied with smooth carbonation.

Overall, this was a bit of a mess. Overly sweet banana, bubblegum and alcohol. A Belgian cream ale?
