Emerging from winter’s cold into sunny spring is Emergent White IPA. Orange peel contributes a bright, citrus flavor complemented by a subtle spiciness from the coriander and Belgian yeast. With a golden hue and fruity, floral hop aroma and flavor, Emergent goes down like a breath of fresh mountain air.

Boulder Beer is so ratchet. Possibly the worst beer I have ever consumed

A: The beer is hazy pale yellow in color and has lots particulates floating in suspension along with a light to moderate amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a quarter finger high white head that died down, leaving a thin layer of bubbles covering the surface and lots of lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: Light to moderate flavors of Belgian yeast and orange peel are present in the nose—the orange peel becomes stronger as the beer warms up.
T: The taste has lots of flavors of orange peel along with notes of Belgian yeast and coriander. There is a light amount of bitterness.
M: It feels medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: With all of the orange peel and coriander, this beer tastes like a hybrid between a witbier and a Belgian IPA.

Appearance: As would be expected from a wheat beer, this one pours hazy and honey colored, with a frothy head; nice retention and plenty of lacing action
Smell: A clash between the yeast, coriander and the citrus; I guess you might describe this as floral
Taste: Wheat bread forward, with the yeast phenols and coriander developing; after the swallow, the hops kick in and add a bitter finish
Mouthfeel: Light to medium body with moderate to high carbonation
Overall: I would call this a hoppy Wit, but I guess the marketing folks decided that White IPA would be more marketable; ultimately, the beer has to stand on its flavor profile and, on that count, this one is quite deficient to my tastebuds as the hops just don't marry well with the Wit character

Cloudy straw color with a foamy, long lasting white head. Bright aromas of lemon, orange, and coriander. Taste starts off with strong citrus of orange and lemon with a bit of a coriander bite that transitions into a hoppy bitterness accompanied by grapefruit flavors. Finish has some residual bitterness, but not much. Feel is medium with a fair amount of carbonation. Overall, this is a very bright, refreshing IPA perfect for warm weather.

Not really an IPA - more of a drier, hoppier Witbier. The citrus notes play nicely against the wheat, spices and almost-Brett-like yeast. Good summer thirst quencher.
