Was expecting a bit more. The beer is good but lacks any special smell or taste.

It looks good. Nice yellow color good white head and lacing. Smellis a bit lemony. Taste hints at fruity sweetness. The finish is kind of hop forward. It is difficult to say something definitive about the beer. A good but not great trip!

"A long time ago in a far away land, a new style of beer was introduced by a small band of magical Belgium Unicorns. Inspired by their creative spirit, we bring you Good Trip Tripel - A slightly spicy, golden colored Belgium style Strong ale. Crack one open and enjoy the journey."

Picked this up for 9 Bucks at my Local Allegheny Six pack and Dogs shop. Into a pint glass

A - As advertised somewhat dark orange yellow in color with a 1/2 inch of frothy head that sticks around for a bit.
S - Hoppy and slightly grainy with a good sweet malt edge that reminds me of sugary dough.
T - Actually quite good fruity and subtle with honey malts, hops and a slightly yeasty dry finish.
M - Covers the ABV rather well it drinks medium bodied but can be enjoyed as a slow sipper.

Overall nothing mind blowing but one of the better beers I ever had by the company right up next to their shake porter but WAY less sweet. Try some!
