On tape at Denver airport. Decent but underwhelming ale, faint aroma, slight malt in the taste and some generic hoppiness. Good looking with decent lacing, but overall seems lacking.

Appearance: Pours a moderately hazy (>60% opacity), medium to deep golden color with a strong white head. SRM of 8. (3.75)
Aroma: Moderate to strong aromas of lemon citrus, orange citrus, citrus flower, and strong pineapple. (4.00)
Flavor: Strong citrus flavors of orange citrus, green citrus, lemon citrus, flower, with some pineapple. Spritzy, light and hazy. (4.00)
Feel: Medium to heavier bodied for the style. Strong carbonation. Feels unfiltered with some sediment on the palate. In hazy fashion (4.25)
Compared to Elysian Skalrok 2/3/22: Pours a similar color with a larger head. Stronger aromas. More citrus, orange, flower, pineapple. Less kiwi, berry, yeast, and tart pear.
Overall: Really a good and hazy beer here. Strong hazy and juicy flavors. Drinks like an unfiltered NEIPA. Packs a punch for the lower ABV. The mouthfeel is stronger than expected and allows it to drink in a higher weight class. Some good ulfiltered hazy here. (Final Rating: 4.22)

L: hazy yellow-orange body; foamy off-white head
S: zesty citrus, mango, pine
T: very zesty with notes of tangerine, grapefruit, mango, earthy pine
F: medium body, ample carbonation, bitter finish with grapefruit zest lingering
O: I thought I had this one a few years back, but maybe not. Maybe I’m dazed and confused.

From Feb 2006 Poured from bottle a cloudy reddish gold with a medium sized head of foam that dissipated quickly.. The smell is quite hoppy with lemony notes, The taste is very hoppy with strong citrus tones that make for a very bitter attack on my palate but that's not a complaint from me. ;^) Solid APA. Bottom line: Here's a very flavourful APA that only tips the scales at 4.85%abv thus making it a good candidate for a session beer. I recommend it.
