Dark black pour, little head. A slight ring around the edge with a filmy foam. Lacing was thin as well. A bit inky looking.
Smells of raisins and coffee, hints of chocolate and roasted malt.
A nice, milder taste than expecting. The sharpness of a stout is even with the coffee and chocolate; a nice balance. Soft feel to it, while maintaining the bite. Easy drinking. Had this at Falling Rock, outside in the shade. A nice opening brew for me.
