Six pack of cans purchased at Total Wine in Lynnwood, Washington.
'Enjoy by August 22 2019". Poured in to a pint glass.

Look- Clear, bright copper color. solid off-white head that recedes slowly. big amount of lacing.
Moderate carbonation visible in the glass.

Smell- Melon, berries, raspberries, lots of berries. Blueberries and strawberries, citrus, pineapple, pine, light malts, light tropical fruit. yummy.

Taste- Hop profile follows the nose... rich, grainy and sweet malts, mild piney bitter finish.

Feel- Medium bodied and smooth/creamy, nice carbonation on the tongue. Almost golden sweet. Great balance between the hops and the malt. Alcohol is really well hidden.

O- I started out today with Goodlife 'Comatose' and this wins. Incredibly balanced and almost like sweet berry jam juice box goodness.

Had this on tap last month at Green River Brewery/(Nightclub?) in Winters, CA. Went relatively as expected for a Boulder dipa.

Pours golden with the slightest him of amber color to it. Smallish 1/4" white head. Aroma wasn't pungent, but it revealed actual dry hopping methinks. Had those kinda softer notes of Mosaic and Amarillo, leaned harder on Amarillo I think, but you know how everyone wants a little Mosaic these days so they can mention it on their labels. A little bit of lemon, orange and papaya on the nose.

Taste pushed along by a good bittering tag team of Simcoe and Centennial, the Centennial hop feels like its coming back, and why not, I bet there is still a ton of acreage at a good price compared to the proprietary stuff that is all aroma for the most part. Pale toasted malt body, hides alcohol really good, expected this to be hotter, good job on the body. This is actually the best Boulder hoppy beer I've ever had. They're getting better at it. Went in with doubts, came out impressed.

This beer does an excellent job of holding the malts at bay for a double. It grew on me. It avoids becoming an alcohol bomb by successfully pushing its citrus profile to the front. Well done.

Fairly nice double IPA with some good flavors and aromas. Pours a nice darker golden color with some fluffy white head and spotty lingering lacing. Smells mainly of some grapefruit, pineapple, lemon and orange fruity hops. Also has some piney hops, malt and caramel. Taste follows the nose, except that the sweeter malt backbone is a little more pronounced and I would’ve liked a more bitter hoppy bite. Smooth, thin, mild mouthfeel with good carbonation. Higher ABV is well-hidden. Smooth and tasty and easy to drink, just not my favorite since this category is loaded with amazing beers from other breweries.

nice to see some new beers coming from these guys, sometimes it has felt like stagnation from where i sit, but the rebrand looks good, and this is a very solid ipa, freakishly easy to drink for its strength as its almost entirely devoid of all the usual slow downs, high alcohol presence, malt sweetness, and assertive hop bitterness, this really has none of those elements, but remains a majorly flavorful brew, i think they have done a great job with it, and for the price especially, its a great buy. a not unfamiliar hop complexion on it, some pineapple and grapefruit essences, with an oily almost greasy slide to it on each sip from the hops. fruity in the finish more than bitter, and not overly dry hopped to the point of it being vegetal or harsh. smart recipe. i like the darker malts being scaled back too, this is pale and light, has enough body to support all the hops, but doesnt interfere much with the flavor. lots to like here, and it warms up better than most. it almost tastes summery, further adding to its danger factor. nice carbonation also keeps it on the lighter side for the style. overall a very worthwhile beer, a sort of fusion of ipa styles, and a welcomed addition to the boulder beer lineup.

A great double IPA. Darker/golden in color.
Heavy, deep taste. Lots of character.
Not perfect, but a solid choice if you're looking for a decent double IPA.

Best by 4/5/19. 12oz can poured into a tulip. Pours golden with great clarity and has bubbles racing upwards; fluffy white head that falls leaving great retention and sticky lacing. The aromas are malt forward along with some citrus. Caramel and orange is there. The flavors basically follow the nose. More caramel and orange. Some toffee. Spicy hops. Solid bitterness. Malts do their thing. Alcohol basically goes unnoticed. Mouthfeel is nice. It's full-bodied with moderate to active carbonation. It's sharp, fluffy, smooth and dangerously drinkable.

This is a solid DIPA. I'm not sure what the hop bill consists of, but I feel that chinook hops are the star. This is on the "old school" side of the style, which works. I might not personally love it, but I appreciate it. It's still enjoyable and fun to drink. It's well crafted. Not bad at all.
