Had this on draft a few years back. From my notes:
Black liquid.
Khaki head; spotty lace.
Chocolate syrup nose.
Medium thick mouthfeel.
Similar to Samuel Smith's Organic Chocolate stout, a chocolate blast in the flavor. A nice hop bite on the back end elevates this.

Had at the Old Chicago Saturday.
It poured black , small head of foam, a little bit of lacing.
The smell was big time chocolate, light roast, some caramel sweetness.
The taste followed the smell and was so delicious. Not at all artificial tasting just nice chocolate/cocoa notes dominating a brew with chocolate in the name. ;^)
Good creamy mouthfeel and easy to drink though I think the abv, what ever it is, isn't as low as I thought from my first sip to my last. Very good brew.

Had this at the Old Chicago in Wichita's Oldtown. I had not heard of it until I saw it on the menu.
Served in a porter glass, delivered with one finger of head, which was a creamy light brown. Lacing was exquisite. Body was a dark brown that allowed just a hint of light to pass.
Aroma was of espresso, cocoa and roasted malt. Fairly strong.
Flavor followed the nose with some alcohol. Again strong, but pleasant.
Mouthfeel was creamy, slightly bitter and remained on the tongue.
Overall, I really liked this beer. Enough that I asked for a growler, which they didn't have.

Had this at Old Chicago in Kentwood, Michigan. Chocolate dominates the taste, with vanilla and some bitterness to balance things. I had a couple of them - goes well with pizza. Not my favorite porter, because I like Anchor Porter more, but I'd have it again.

On tap at the Wilderness Pub. Served in a shaker pint glass. The beer is nearly pitch black with a thick cream head. Retention is good and bits of lace are left behind.
Baking chocolate is front and center. Its bittersweet flavor carries the beer. Bitterness is light and roasted, lending a hint of espresso. The medium body is sticky and has a little too much fizz.
Overall, a nice chocolate beer. I'm glad I tried it.

Had a pint at the Old Chicago in Roseville, MN. It appeared dark brown and wow, it sure smelled like chocolate. There's not a lot else to say about the beer. I've never smelled or tasted such a richly chocolate porter, stout, or any other style of beer. It's a clean and clean dark chocolate character - not quite baker's chocolate, but around a 70% cacao bar. The beer's a touch on the sweet and thick side for my liking, but it's certainly worth ordering for dessert.

I was expecting more.
Served in shaker pint
Smell was of roasted malts and cocoa.
Taste: Chocolate milk, nothing else. After the fourth sip, it becomes a gulper because you want to finish it. Metallic aftertaste.
Mouthfeel: weird and metallic, a little watery.
This is a beer I will never have again.
