On tap at Max's today.
BB KP pours a somewhat hazy, toffee amber color with dedent head retention and lacing. The nose is attractive, showcasing caramel, butter, brown sugar and toffee. I don't get a whole lot of bourbon on the nose, but then I took my first sip. Wow! The flavor profile replicates the nose in this wonderful BW, but it's all wrapped around a considerable amount of bourbon. The beer is also quite smooth, with a long, rich, somewhat boozy finish. Drinkability is surprisingly good, especially for the style. There's a hint of heat in the finish, and you can tell the alcohol is up there, but this beer is just so delicious... I barely noticed the 10% alcohol.
Nothing wrong with the regular KP, but the bourbon flavor just takes it to a whole different level. Excellent BW.
