I had this one yesterday afternoon at Oskar Blues Liquids and Solids, and sadly it was a letdown (I really want to like these barrel aged beers from Boulder Brewing, and they are letting me down). Poured a hazy medium brown color with a decent cap of light brown foam. Aromas of whiskey, tartness and a little yeast. On the palate, this one was rather light bodied, with a little tartness, slightly sour and some whiskey/oak notes.
