Tasted by half-pint at the Pembury Tavern, Hackney Central, North London.
A: clear pale amber hue, poured without any sign of beer head, on top of a very low carbonated body.
S: sweet malty upfront with a honey-ish hint; also at present are sweetened tangerine rind, deep flowery (like elderflower) scent... pretty dense the aroma is, for a 3.7%abv. beer~~
T: quite light-bodied, with nutty maltiness coming with a dryish walnut (on skins) flavour; turning intensively dry, woody and herbal-medicine like bitter in the lingering aftertaste.
M&D: rather thin-bodied but nothing wrong for a standard, under-4%abv bitter; the good lingering dryness and bitterness bring forward a nice mouthfeel as a more-ish bitter. Overall, a small but nice bitter, with a lovely contrast b/w the sweet, fullsome aroma and the bitter palate.
