Tasted by half-pint at the Pembury Tavern, Hackney, London, on 12/03/06.
A: pours a pale golden hue, with a thin bubbly beer head and very low carbonation.
S: grapefruity hop dominates the nose (like Challenger?), on top of sweetish pale malts--straight-forward yet rather balanced, slightly gearing towards the hoppy side.
T: dryish bitter and hoppy upfront--grapefruit peel and a subtle peanut-skin like flavour and walnutty maltiness follow closely; turning more dryish bitter in the aftertaste, but not hard to manage as a whole.
M&D: balanced mouthfeel, soft carbonation and very smooth mouthfeel overall--reasonably depth and drinkability are both good. A hoppy, easy-drinking, session blond ale/bitter.
