Cask. Light amber with a thin head
Smells of light caramel malt, candyfloss and diacetyl.
Buttery notes still there upon tasting. Mild bitter flavour.
Cask feel. Light to medium body.
Uninspiring bitter.

Tasted by half-pint at the Pembury Tavern, Hackney, NE London.
A: dark orangey golden hue with good clarity, with a nice and semi-thick white spongey beer head lasting pretty well~~ micro-scopic fizz detected in the nectar.
S: orangey and spicy hops, tropical fruit-flavoured candy, semi-sweet toffeeish maltiness and a hint of malted wheat as well~~ fruity, flowery, creamy malty altogether--nice!
T: lightly sour-sweet fruity upfront, grassy and a faintly peppery-spicy flavour follows, along with dryish bitter hoppyness at the back... the lingering hops round off the palate and leave a bit of tannic bitterness in the finish.
M&D: a medium-bodied and easty-to-drink bitter; this one has more body and a better hop-malt balance than Milton Pegasus, but to me is quite similar to the latter's ingredients. Having tried it at the same pub twice before, I have to admit this time round it lacks the freshness and characters on the palate to be outstanding, but I'd been warned by the barmaid that it wasn't the freshest pint to be served anyway (read: they were almost ready to change the barrel), and I didn't mind to take it. Will try a fresher pint next time~~
