June 2019: Cask 1/3 pint at the 46th Cambridge Beer Festival, 2019. ABV 3.3%. Very dark reddish brown colour, beige head. Aroma of dust, grain and a hint of chocolate. Light bodied. The flavour has notes of chocolate with a decent fruitiness.

Tasted by half-pint at the Pembury Tavern, Hackney, NE London.
A: pours a clear dark ruby colour with some brownish hues; a fluffy white beer head sits on top.
S: smoked malts, lots of sweet vegetation note like roasted chestnuts (coated with black-sugar), boiled water caltrops, and mildly caramely malts in the back... utterly nutty and pleasantly sweet--wholesome for a mild ale!!
T: quite thin-bodied upfront (natural for a 3.3%abv. beer though), on top of a profoundly aromatic bitter+sour+sweet roasted/dark maltiness and roasted whole-shell walnuts; dryish aftertaste follows, with more dryish nuttiness, exotic-bitter edge of black sugar, and very mild smokiness to come.
M&D: very light-bodied and very smooth on the palate, it's probably the most aromatic mild I've ever tried in a long time. The down side of a mild, IMO anyway, also happens to this one and that's slightly thin and watery. But apart from that it's still an utterly enjoyable, light-weight, aromatic yet dryish mild.
