Served in a shaker pint glass at the brewpub.
So this is the beer that the town's named after, eh? It pours a clear sallow topped by a finger of white micro-foam. The nose comprises wheat, rice, corn, and some light orange peel. The taste runs similarly, though with some added pepper and a decent amount of additional wheat. Honestly, this is more akin to a nice mild pils than anything. The body is pretty light, with a light moderate carbonation and a dry, crisp finish. Overall, a kinda boring, adjunct-y brew that ends up being pretty drinkable, though highly unexciting.

(Served in an American pint glass)
A- This beer had a warm yellow body that was crystal clear with a thin white film of foam that disappeared soon after the first sip. There was a good carbonation of big bubbles.
S- The smell of faint pale hops had a slight cooked corn note mixed with a raw grain smell. There was a noble hop hint that came through as it warmed.
T- The bitter hops were the first thing I noticed and they were all noble. Then the taste of pale malt and cooked corn came through with the raw grain note that was pretty dry. The beer had a dry finish that didn't have much flavor.
M- This beer had a medium-light mouthfeel with a fizzy finish.
D- This beer had a nice hint of malt and raw grain but it was hidden under the cooked corn notes and there wasn't much depth in hops. This beer was just uninteresting.
