From the label: "KMF Ale is brewed with Pale, Munich and Crystal malts... Hopped with Cascade and Mount Hood from America...".

This is a restrained interpretation of an American Pale Ale from Bakewell, Derbyshire.

Pale golden colour with a white head that recedes to a faint layer. Some lacing. Very clear. Low carbonation.

The citrus nose on the American hops is prominent but not overpowering.

The use of Munich and Crystal malts definitely gives this beer a hybrid feel. It's an ale for sure. It's bitter, it's hoppy. But it's also refreshing, clean, and slightly sweet. This is a really interesting beer.

The only let-down is its mouthfeel. It's a little lightweight and a little watery, despite having a pleasant, drying aftertaste.
