Served at cellar temperature from 500ml bottle into straight pint glass.
L) Very pale, like Bud Light, slight haze, lots and lots of small bubbles. Thin white film.
S) Unusual, quite unpleasant odour of burnt garlic, but there is some hints of summer fruits in there too. Not nice and not appetising.
T) Thankfully not bad like the smell, but pretty tame for a Thornbridge pale ale. Kind of a soda-ry lightness, not much bitterness, some pleasant citrus notes on the aftertaste.
F) Light and the fizziness I like, it is to my taste. There is bitterness but it is mild and does not linger. Easy drinking, can't fault it in this department.
O) I'm a Thornbridge fan but can't really recommend this one as they have dozens of better bottled beers. If I see it on tap in the pub I will be willing to give it a go there and re-evaluate.

A: Very pale yellow. Some visible carbonation. Clear. Minimal head that leaves little lacing behind. A little insipid to look at. Could be mistaken for a Miller Light!?
S: Plentiful citrus and tropical fruits. Nose is much better than the appearance might suggest.
T: Follows the nose. Nicely drying. Some gentle sweetness. Once again, much better than its appearance
M: Nice level of carbonation. Crisp. Dry. But also a little thin.
O: This is a relatively low ABV pale ale. Its appearance and mouthfeel are a little bland but the nose and flavour compensate. This brewery has other, better, more complex pale ales.
