Copenhagen 14/10 2020. 44 cl can from Meny, Borups Allé. Simple yellow can with the name of the beer in orange and Thornbridge's logo in gold.
Pours hazy, golden yellow with a fairly big white head. Settles as thin layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. Clinging to the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is intense with a strong sweet fruity odor mingling with a more subtle citric scent. Sweet mango in abundance. Sugar and hints of banana. A bit of citrus and grape fruit.
Medium strong carbonation. Slightly thick, watery, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a slightly more moderate citric bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter and lingers for a while. Finish is semi-dry.
A bit too much flavoring and too little DIPA.

440ml can.
L: Cloudy, pale orange with a massive white head that collapses quickly but leaves spotty lacing. No carbonation visible.
S: Tropical fruit juice.
T: Not quite ripe mango. Almost juicy, but on the sharp side. Becomes dank. Metallic finish.
F: Medium body, moderate carbonation. Mouthfeel is flat and edgy.
O: The addition of mango has fundamentally changed the standout Halcyon IPA and not for the better. The complex citrus flavour and rich mouthfeel of the original has been stripped and replaced by green, sharp, raw mango. Doesn't work for me. Great looking can though.

Flavour has some hints of parma violet with all that exotic fruit and a slight bitter finish
Decent body

Pours an unclear orange with quickly falling foam.
Smell is tropical, with some tart mango and pineapple.
Taste is a bit perfumed, with clear mango flavor and bit of lime peel. Very balanced, nice bitterness. Finish is grassy and dry.
Mouthfeel is medium, nice carbonation.
Overall, a very drinkable IPA, with very obvious mango flavor.
