Copenhagen 17/5 2021. 44 cl can from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. Peach colored and black can with golden ornaments.

Pours clear pale yellow with a small white head. Settles as 0,3 cm thick layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.

Aroma is medium intense with a sweet fruity odor with light citric notes. Sweet canned peaches, pineapple. Touch of milkshake. White sugar. Lemon and lime.

Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, lightly tingling texture.

Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a more moderate citric bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish with a light bitter undertone. Lingers for a bit. Finish is semi-dry.

If they wanted to cram a peach into the can they succeeded. A tad too sweet for my taste buds.

330 ml bottle, as Thornbridge Melba Peach IPA, from the Norwegian importer. ABV is 5.2%. Clear pale golden, small white head. "Perfumed" aroma of peaches, peach candy and fruity hops. The flavour is moderately sweet and fairly refreshing, again with notes of peaches and fruity hops, with a moderate but decent bitterness in the finish.

Bottle. Gold coloured. Medium frothy head.
Citrus aroma. Some peach notes but also a rather strange earthy\sulphurous farmyard smell.
Minimal bitterness.
A rather odd brew.

Pale gold with minimal haze and very little head. Strong, sweet, tropical fruity nose. Taste follows the nose. Very little bitterness. Peach no more pronounced than the general fruit flavour with some hops. A touch thin after the initial taste, but not unreasonable for the abv. Slightly malty after-taste with the faintest hint of earthy smoke, with perhaps grass coming through. Dense but not overwhelming carbonation.

Pours am almost clear, bright golden coloration with a medium, frothy head. Smells intensly and sweetly of peach, with a hint of citrus. Taste is not as intense, with notes of peach, citrus and grass. This does not feel like an IPA in many ways: coloration, body, depth of flavor, ABV. It is a little weak, but still pleasant to drink.

A 330ml bottle with a BB of July 2018. Purchased recently from Tesco. Described as a peach IPA; hopped with Mosaic and Citra.

A: Poured into an IPA glass. A pale gold colour with intense carbonation and significant floating sediment that looks like coagulated protein. Yield a large head of creamy white foam that lasts for a minute or two before reducing to a patchy surface layer. Slight lacing.

S: Aroma of fruity hops and an almost perfumed peach character; hints of stone fruit, citrus zest, mild tropical fruit, subtle hay, pale malt, ale yeast and faint earthiness. Clean and deliciously fruity.

T: Tastes of bright, fruity hops with notes of stone fruit, citrus zest, tropical fruit, mild grass/hay, pale malt, a twinge of grain and subtle ale yeast. Very dry, with a crisp, hoppy bitterness upon swallowing.

M: Mouthfeel is smooth, tingly and dry, with spritzy carbonation and good body. Light and lively, with subtle hops oils tickling the palate. Aftertaste of fruity aromatic hops, peach, citrus, bitterness, mild ale yeast and faint malt.

O: Nice - successfully navigates a course between IPA and fruit beer with the use of complementary flavours. Looks OK (aside from the floating stuff), while the aroma and flavour are a great mix of peach and fruity hops. Good body. Dry, crisp and very drinkable - worth sampling.

Trying this again in Nov 2022.
It’s a bland American-ish pale ale. Plenty of melon flavour but not much else. Overly sweet. Dry, thin and gassy. Not good. Have adjusted the score accordingly.

L: Clear, very pale gold with moderate carbonation and a thick head that reduces to a persistent 3mm cap.
S & T: Soft, ripe peaches plus citrusy, juicy hops (mosaic, citra).
F: Light body with a soft, dry finish.
O: Interesting peach flavoured pale ale (don't agree it's an IPA because ABV is low). Pleasant enough but one is probably enough.
