Copenhagen 4/1 2018. 33 cl bottle from Høkeren, Ravnsborggade, Kbh. N. What looks like a Greek statue on the label. But it might be a Tonttu which I can understand is a Finnish Christmas Elf.
Pours clear reddish amber with a fairly small white head. Settles as a thin layer of foam barely covering the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is intense. Berries and exotic fruit providing a fine fruitiness. The citric aspects are more subdued.
Medium strong carbonation and slightly thick texture.
Flavor is a little bland compared to the aroma. Light sweetness followed by stronger bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter and finish slightly dry.
Really nice aroma and slightly disappointing taste.

330 ml bottle, from Vinmonopolet. ABV is 6%. Deep golden to amber colour, moderate white head. Strong fruity and piney aroma of Enigma hops. Hoppy flavour, fruity and piney notes again, but not sharp. Nicely balanced by smooth malts, with a hint of caramel. Another winner from Thornbridge.

Clear red-amber colour. Red malts, bitter hops, slightly citrusy. Tastes medium bodied and full. Bright citrus and tropical hops throughout. Passionfruit. Dry palate and tropical hop finish. Lingers. Balanced red and hint of cereal malts.

Pours a light ruby coloration with a medium creamy head. Smells of citrus and caramelly malts. Taste follows the nose, with biscuity, carmelly malt, citrus and herbal notes. Also some red berries and a light, hoppy bitterness. Pretty decent Red Ale, but I don't really get the christmas character. There is a certain herbaceous quality to it, but really not a lot of spice going on there.

Dark amber with ecru film. 4
Big hop sack and sticky crystal. 4
Hit of toffee, some tea leaf, orange rind, a touch of resin, and leafy end. 3.75
Lt+, crisp, oily. 4
"Hoppy Christmas Red" with Enigma.
Smells great, but doesn’t end up the Imperial Amber it presents as - astringent + English in the end. Enigma is, well… But easy and Christmassy enough.
Thornbridge are just not as interesting as they used to be. 3.75
