330ml bottle.
L: Near black with a three-finger mocha head that collapses to a thin cap leaving sheets of lacing.
S: Orange pith.
T: Definitely the chocolate orange flavours promised on the label. Aftertaste is more citrusy and zesty.
F: Medium body with light carbonation and a soft finish.
O: It’s a novelty beer, of course, left over from Christmas. You’d swear there is orange zest in the brew but the ingredients list only ‘water, barley, wheat, hops, yeast, lactose’. Those magnum hops are a bittering hop so I really am not sure where the pronounced ‘Terry’s chocolate orange’ flavour is coming from. Skilfully produced as a one-off but kind of ridiculous.
