Copenhagen 25/10 2020. 44 cl can from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. Black can with dark blue-green ornaments. They call it a Mountain IPA which I can understand is a little bit of everything between the East and the west coast.
Pours unclear pale yellow with a big white head. Stable. Settles as thin but consistent layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Crawling up the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with sweet, juicy and fruity odor mingling with gentle citric fumes. Peach, pineapple and mango. Multi-fruit juice. Light tart notes of oranges and citrus.
Medium strong carbonation. Slightly thick, soft, smooth, lightly tinging texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed and balanced by a medium strong citric bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish with light bitter undercurrent. Lingers for a bit. Finish is semi-dry.
Nice and well-balanced. But a bit mellow. Goes with the territory, I guess.

440ml can. Collaboration with North Brewing.
L: Cloudy, pastel orange colour. Two fingers of creamy head collapses slowly to a decent cap.
S: Rich, overripe pineapple.
T: Mango, orange, pineapple and resin. Becomes increasingly dank. Moderate/light bitterness.
F: Medium/full body with an oily mouth coating and a semi-dry finish.
O: A big, juicy, heavy mouthful of east coast meets west coast AIPA. East coast just about wins. This is a rich and alcoholic brew from two of my favourite breweries.
