Copenhagen 20/10 2020. 44 cl can from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. A very green can with the name of the beer in pineapple yellow and Thornbridge's coat of arms in gold.
Pours hazy, golden yellow with a big white head. settles as 1 cm thick, frothy layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is intense with a strong odor of exotic fruit mingling with citrus fruits. Pineapple in abundance. Passion fruit and Peach. Grapefruit and hints of pine.
Medium carbonation. Medium thick, soft, smooth yet tingling texture.
Flavor is fairly intense with medium strong sweetness followed by a slightly stronger citric bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a light sweet undertone. Finish is dry.
Refreshing with a nice fit for the pineapple. Good one.

S: Pineapple.
T: Pineapple, mango & booze. Moderate bitterness.
F: Medium body with a rich, velvet mouthfeel. Finish is very dry.
O: This is Thornbridge's Halcyon imperial IPA with added pineapple. Very good, but prefer the excellent original.
