Thanks to Chris for sharing this one.
A: The pour is a standard amber color with a surprisingly large off-white head.
S: Certainly a lot of sherry notes along with quite a bit of caramel and fruity sweetness. A hint of vanilla and oak as well.
T: The base beer does not really seem to be all that noticeable here. Like the nose, the flavor is dominated by the sherry and oak. There is a bit of peat in there also, and a nice orange flavor that seems to come from nowhere.
M: The body is medium to full with a low carbonation.
D: A bit boozy as you get into drinking it, but still nice. One of the few Sherry aged beers I've come across and it certainly is an interesting one.

Bottle from madbitch, bottle shop owner in the U.K. A pricey little import, bit well worth it as a once-in-a-lifetime drinking experience. A beer, yet a spirit, with sherry, and a scotch. Yes al of the above. Wine aromas, more yeasty in the second sample. Super lacey on brown-grapefruit, with a soapy head. Understated carbonation, a good mouthfeel. A good drinker. Fruity, mostly orange and tangerine, very fine hops.

Bottle courtesy of the magnificent madmitch76. Thank you sir. 375mL bottle pours clear copper with frothy off white head. This is a good looking beer. The aroma has boozy seemingly whiskey notes moving into mild oak and vanilla. I also get aromatic hints toward dark fruity esters deep in the background before the heat of the draw finally takes over. The taste has a fruit apricot note first then moves into booze resembling dry sherry or somehow whiskey and a sense of oak and vanilla. It ends a bit boozy and dry and could use several more years of age to mellow out a bit more.
