Copenhagen 13/5 2021. 44 cl can from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. Black can with two pink horizontal lines and red and white ornaments in Thornbridge's usual design.
Pours opaque dark brown with an off-white head. Settles as thin layer of frothy foam just managing to cover the surface of the beer. Clinging to the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet, slightly pastry-like odor with a light touch of sour milk. Chocolate, plum cake, lactose. Sugared toffee. Light roast.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, soft, smooth, oily texture. Lightly tingling.
Flavor is medium intense with a strong sweetness followed by a moderate sourish bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet without being cloying. Lingers for a while. Finish is sweet with a liqueur-like streak.
Not too heavy Pastry stout. Pleasant and smooth.

440 ml can, from Voldby Købmandsgård. ABV is 8.0%. Black colour, large tan head. Aroma of roast malts, strong coffee and dark chocolate / cocoa, a hint of vanilla. Rich mouthfeel. The flavour is not too sweet (despite the name), and has the same elements as the aroma, with the vanilla a bit more pronounced now. Very good beer.
