Collaboration with Rivington Brewing Co.
Rivington are well known for brewing an amazing range of beers, so we have been very excited to create a new one with them! This is an American Brown Ale, beginning with the subtle malt complexities of the brown ale style, with caramel, chocolate and just a hint of nuttiness coming through, then using this as a canvas for the addition of pungent American hops. These bring citrus, pine and a light tropical character to the fore, complementing the malt bill perfectly and creating a harmoniously balanced beer.

L- Very deep copper, clear, 1Cm dark cream head.
S- Bright and aromatic.
T- A bit of conifer, fleeting medicinal, brief richness then notably dry hops building on the tongue tho not too far. After the first sip or two all those facets come in a blend on a foundation of moderately toasty deep malt.
F- It feels pretty big and pungent, it's well suited to winter, would stand up to pretty robust food. One for slow sipping for me as there is quite a lot going on! As I continue I notice more the hoppy-dry finish on the palate.
O- Nice, interesting to try as it's something a bit different and not a shouty statement of weird eccentricity. I am enjoying it but it might be a bit unorthodox and £ for me to buy again.
440ml can £4.29 Wholefoods London W8 Review#2044.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
