Quiet Storm is a unique series of single hop showcases. Using some of our favourite hop varieties, the ambition of this project is to really highlight the full spectrum and capability of each individual variety through precise application at different stages of brewing.
The Hallertau Blanc hop is another German grown, American cascade descendant and related to the stunning Huell Melon. It’s renowned for the striking white wine flavours it imparts, with crisp gooseberry and grape joined by joyous touches of melon and passionfruit.

440ml can.
L: Pale orange colour with a light haze and two fingers of soapy head and spotty lacing.
S: Soft and vaguely floral. Reminiscent of hay and dandelions.
T: Lemon juice, melon and inexpensive white wine.
F: Light body with some slick mouthfeel. Dry finish.
O: These single hop pale ales are interesting but can be one-dimensional. Probably most interesting drunk as a flight to compare each hop profile.
