Quiet Storm is a unique series of single hop showcases. Using some of our favourite hop varieties, the ambition of this project is to really highlight the full spectrum and capability of each individual variety through precise application at different stages of brewing.
Nelson Sauvin is a hugely popular hop, famous for imparting its stunningly distinctive flavour profile to any beer and one which we think suits the double dry hopping process. It brings notes of passionfruit and crushed grapes with a defining gooseberry character reminiscent of New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc.

440ml can. Have had a few of these single hop Quiet Storms and this is the first one that really works off the bat. Beautiful, opaque orange with a creamy, bright white head. Muted aroma but masses of white grape & gooseberry flavour. Mouthfeel is light but smooth and powder dry. Fantastic NZ hop.
*Maybe time for a new beer style “NZ Pale Ale”? Motueka, Wakatu, Waimea, Nelson Sauvin, etc.
